310 Rough Extruded Pipe

25% chromium and 20% nickel in the chemistry. 1150 °C oxidation resistance in service. And a surface that still carries the extrusion skin — dark, textured, unmachined. The 310 rough extruded pipe from Jiangsu Ji Lai Da Nickel-Based Alloy Co., Ltd. is the raw form: a seamless hollow straight off the press, pickled to remove loose oxide but otherwise left as-formed. No grinding, no polishing, no bright finish. For buyers who will machine, bore, or re-process the tube themselves, the rough condition saves a step they'd pay for and then cut away.

Rough Has Its Own Logic

Ji Lai Da factory manufactures 310 Rough Extruded Pipe for high-temperature furnace components, radiant tube assemblies and heat treatment equipment. Designed for applications where surface finish is secondary to thermal durability, these tubes provide seamless integrity, stable wall thickness and reliable oxidation resistance under continuous high-temperature operation. Available in outside diameters from 6 to 89 mm and wall thicknesses from 3 to 9 mm, the tube is supplied in rough extruded or pickled condition, with custom dimensions available for project requirements.

Seamless Construction for High-Temperature Applications

The 310 Rough Extruded Pipe is produced as a seamless extruded product, without a longitudinal welded seam. This construction is relevant for furnace and thermal-processing applications where the tube may experience repeated heating and cooling.

The supplied wall thickness range is 3–9 mm, with a stated wall-thickness tolerance of ±0.3 mm. Final suitability depends on the required temperature, pressure, tube dimensions, installation method and service conditions.

310 / 310S Stainless Steel Options

The 310 Rough Extruded Pipe is available in 310 and 310S grades, depending on the required material specification.

These heat-resistant stainless steel grades are commonly considered for high-temperature equipment and furnace-related components. The appropriate grade should be selected according to the required chemical composition, service temperature, fabrication requirements and applicable material standard.

Material documentation such as an EN 10204 3.1 Material Test Certificate (MTC) can be supplied according to the order requirements.

Typical Applications

1. Furnace Radiant Tube Assemblies

Used by furnace manufacturers for components exposed to elevated-temperature service. The rough surface condition is suitable where the tube is incorporated into an enclosed furnace assembly rather than used as a visible finished surface.

2. Heat Treatment Equipment

Suitable for heat treatment equipment manufacturers that cut, machine and weld tubing into complete heating or furnace assemblies.

3. Kiln and Thermal Processing Equipment

The seamless tube can be further processed into components used in kilns and other thermal-processing systems, subject to the required grade and operating conditions.

4. Secondary Tube Processing

The 310 Rough Extruded Pipe can be supplied to processors that perform additional drawing, machining, cutting or surface finishing before final use.

FAQ

1. What is rough extruded 310 tube used for?

It is mainly used for high-temperature equipment and applications where the tube will be further processed or installed inside an assembly, making a polished external surface unnecessary.

2. What is the difference between rough and polished 310 tube?

The main difference is the surface condition. Rough tube is supplied with an extruded or pickled surface, while polished or bright-finished tube receives additional surface processing for a smoother appearance and finish.

3. Can the tube be machined and welded?

The supplied tube can be used for downstream cutting, machining and welding, with the fabrication procedure determined by the selected material grade and final equipment design.

4. What sizes are available?

The standard range provided for this product is 6–89 mm outside diameter and 3–9 mm wall thickness. Custom dimensions can be discussed according to the application.
