The standard billet from Jiangsu Ji Lai Da Nickel-Based Alloy Co., Ltd. exits the extrusion press at approximately 3000–3500 mm. This 3m length extruded alloy tube is the direct output of hot extrusion — as-extruded surface, no secondary processing, ready for your own cold rolling, drawing, or machining operations. Available in C276, N08031, N06625, HC-22, and Inconel 718.
The 3m length isn't a ceiling — it's a starting point. Through in-house cold rolling and drawing, Ji lai da can extend
the 3m length extruded alloy tube up to 10000 mm while reducing OD and wall thickness to finished specifications. The
billet elongates as the cross section shrinks, so a 3m billet at OD 89 × WT 9 mm becomes a 6–10m finished tube at
smaller dimensions. Pickled, straightened, and cut to your required length.
Two Ways to Buy
Billet form: OD 89 × WT 9 mm, 3000–3500 mm, as-extruded surface. You do the downstream work. Finished form: OD 6–89 mm,
WT 3–9 mm, up to 10000 mm, pickled or polished. We do it for you. Same extrusion process, same ≥95% yield rate, same MTC
per EN 10204. Factory-direct from China, FOB / CIF / DDP.

FAQ
Q1: Why is the billet 3m and not longer?
A: 3–3.5m is the practical length limit for a single hot extrusion pass on nickel alloys. Beyond that, the billet
cools unevenly and wall thickness consistency drops. We optimize for quality per meter, not maximum length per press
stroke.
Q2: How do you get from 3m to 10m?
A: Cold rolling reduces the cross section, and the tube elongates proportionally. A rough example: reducing OD 89 ×
WT 9 to OD 50 × WT 5 roughly triples the length. We calculate the target dimensions based on your required finished
length and wall thickness.
Q3: Can I order just the 3m billet without further processing?
A: Yes. Many customers with their own cold-draw lines prefer to buy the billet and do secondary processing in-house.
It's the most cost-effective option if you have the equipment.
Q4: What surface condition does the 3m billet come in?
A: As-extruded — there may be light oxide scale on the surface, which is normal for hot-worked nickel alloy. It
cleans off easily during your downstream pickling or machining. If you need us to pickle it before shipping, we can
do that too.
Q5: Is the 3m length available in all grades?
A: Yes — C276, N08031, N06625, HC-22, and Inconel 718 all extrude in this length range. No grade restriction.
